Why we built Sankorra
From the team
Funeral homes in Ghana have been running on paper, WhatsApp, and good memory for decades. The work itself is dignified — the operations underneath it shouldn't be a guessing game.
We grew up around this industry. We've seen directors lose sleep over receipts that never matched the right case, families who got billed twice, and accounts books that didn't add up at the end of the month. The technology to fix this exists everywhere else; it just hadn't been built for Ghana.
Sankorra is our answer. Built in Ghana, for Ghana, with Ghanaian operators, the Mortuary and Funeral Facilities Agency, and the Data Protection Commission as the people we listen to first.
